Belper Open Eco Homes Week

Working with Marches Energy Agency (MEA) and neighbouring Transition Groups, we have engaged willing hosts (8 so far) with homes in or close to Belper (from Crich to Duffield).  The hosts have carried out (or are in the process of carrying out)  out a range of insulation and renewables projects and our intention is for you to learn directly from their experience.  

The event runs across a whole week plus extra weekend.  You can use this website, provided by the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) to browse information about the host sites and their improvement projects,  including their own availability and visiting arrangements. 

When you have found the homes you'd like to visit:-

1. Please pay attention to the availability information for each home.  In most cases this will also involve scheduling visits. 
2. In order to schedule visits and manage numbers , we need you to Email energy@transitionbelper.org to identify yourself and to make bookings, when you will be provided with detailed locations and times. We can then pass on visit schedules to the hosts.
