Built in 2006 by the man i bought it from. It is unusual in having 3 main 'blocks' plus a central staircase/atrium.

It has 50mm fibreglass batts in the block and stone walls, so not up to current regs, but fairly good walls.

I added a lot of (free from Vaillant skip) fibreglass loft insulation in lofts 2 and 3.

I insulated the party wall to the downstairs garage using fibreboard ceiling tiles scrounged from Strutts East Mill.

Gas combi boiler still runs central heating and water.

We added 13x solar PV across 3 Southish facing roofs, plus a 6.5 kWh battery and inverter in the garage. Electricity now effectively free and feed-in offsets gas bill too.

Would LIKE to add ASHP but may well wait for tech to improve/prices to fall/boiler to die.

We hosted about 3 or 4 sets of visitors last time Transition Belper organised a similar thing.
